It's Strictly vs. The X Factor! TV favourites are pitted against each other as the full list of 2016 National Television Awards nominations is announced

Britain's biggest television stars are set to go head-to-head at the 2016 National Television Awards.
And the full list of nominations has been announced on Tuesday morning, giving fans the chance to vote for their favourite programmes, actors and presenters ahead of the glitzy award ceremony, which will be held at The O2 London on January 20 next year.
It comes as little surprise that The X Factor will be pitted against prime time rival Strictly Come Dancing, firm favourites Ant and Dec have received yet another nomination in the best presenter category, while Poldark has earned its very first nods.

The awards, hosted by Dermot O’Leary, give the public sole control over the winner in each other the 15 categories, which includes four newbies this year; International, New Drama, TV Presenter and Live Magazine Show.
Another new addition is TV Moment Of The Year, where fans have complete control to choose their favourite scene, with hot contenders are expected to be the live reveal of Lucy Beale's killer on EastEnders and the shocking betrayal of Game Of Thrones' John Snow.
The biggest win of the night will no doubt be the tight race between entertainment juggernauts X Factor, Strictly, The Voice and BGT, all battling it out for the Talent Show prize.
