Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has bid farewell to the year 2015 with a seemingly loaded message that said she was happy to see it end.
The former Girls Aloud singer posted her first Instagram picture in six days, an image that sees her kissing her middle finger, in the midst of her rumoured marriage crisis.
Rumours about the state of her 19-month marriage refuse to die down with reports that she and husband Jean-Bernard are heading toward a split.

It was first reported at the start of this month that the X Factor judge and the French restaurateur were having 'serious problems'.
Cheryl and JB, who married in July 2014, were last seen together in this October when they attended Ant and Dec's 40th birthday party as a couple.

Though he supported her at every live performance of The X Factor last year, he has been notably absent this year blaming business trips for leaving her solo.
So far, Cheryl has remained silent on the reports, with her representative similarly refusing to comment.
To an outsider, 2015 has brought about a mix of trials and tribulations for the solo singer.

She attributed the weight loss to the stress of losing her father-in-law, Jean-Bernard's father, soon before.
At the time, she spoke of her sadness in an Instagram post, revealing: 'You have no idea what I have been through. Just loosing (sic) my father in law v recently and everything that comes with that. Not that I am or should justify myself to anyone.
'But I am so sick of people thinking it's ok to be mean or body shame anyone. And it's always woman on woman. Have some respect and maybe think there may be reasons why before opening your mouth please.'
There could be further trouble on the horizon for the X Factor star as a Daily Star report claims she could lose half her fortune if she divorces.

Cheryl married in a secret ceremony in Mustique last July and at the time it was reported that the couple were so in love that Cheryl 'refused' to protect her fortune with a pre-nup.
James Brown, a partner in Manchester law firm JMW, has told the Daily Star: 'In the event Cheryl and her new partner divorce, the starting point for the court will be that her husband is entitled to half her wealth.
'Although she might be successful arguing for a smaller amount, the process can take time and is expensive and immensely stressful.'
While Cheryl has amassed her wealth through her singing career, endorsements with the likes of L'Oreal and her judging role on the X Factor, her husband has his own wealth, thanks to his family and business ventures - including his partnership in the popular Cosy Box pop-up bar in Cannes.

At the time of their marriage it was reported that romantic Cheryl was so in love with her new husband that she had 'refused' to a sign a legally binding document to protect her fortune, with a source telling The Daily Mirror at the time:
‘She is a canny businesswoman but in matters of love, she believes the heart should rule the head to a certain extent.
But Kate Saunders, a Family Law Specialist with Langleys LLP, added to MailOnline at the time of the marriage: 'It may not be romantic, but it's practical. A prenuptial agreement could potentially save them from the financial and emotional cost of protracted proceedings associated with sorting out the financial aspects of a divorce.'
Cheryl previously refused to sign a pre-nup when she married footballer Ashley Cole in 2006, saying at the time she found the concept ‘disgusting’.
She said: ‘I think that’s defeating the point. We’re getting married because we’re committing ourselves to each other to spend the rest of our lives together. No ifs and buts.

Cheryl filed for divorce from Ashley in 2010 citing ‘unreasonable behaviour’ after numerous allegations of cheating on his part.
While Cheryl has remained silent on the latest breakup claims, it seems her actions might be speaking louder than her words as the singer has removed a picture of her partner's abs from her Instagram account.
Uploaded in August this year, the snap saw her restaurateur beau lift up his shirt to show off his impressive washboard stomach. Unable to resist gushing over her man's sculpted physique, she captioned the image: 'He tells me I'm almost there.'

The removal of the image means that there is now only one picture left of her husband on her page, which dates back 78 weeks to her 31st birthday celebrations.
The snap also includes Cheryl's X Factor 2014 co-judges Simon Cowell and Mel B, as well as her friends and appears to be taken on board a private jet.
Speaking about the Fight For This Love hit maker's decision to delete the photo of her husband's toned torso, a source told The Sun: 'For Cheryl to take down one of the only pictures of Jean-Bernard during the height of her marriage troubles is very odd.
'Back then she was madly in love with him but a lot has changed in recent months. The signs do not look good.' MailOnline have contacted Cheryl's representative for comment.
