'It was wild meeting Hillary Clinton': Chloe Grace Moretz gushes over presidential hopeful as she talks dating and turning 18 in Angeleno
Chloe Grace Moretz grew up a fan of Hillary Clinton as her mother was always a supporter.
So the 18-year-old Georgia native was more than thrilled to meet the presidential hopeful recently, she told the January/February issue of Modern Luxury Angeleno.
'It was wild. She knew everything I had been doing in my career and all about what I’ve been saying and standing for as a young woman,' the blonde Coach model said of the 68-year-old.

The actress added: 'I grew up loving her vicariously through my mom.
'And as I got older, I started looking more into her ideals and her stance on political issues.
'I’m a big fan of what she stands for….I just wanted to shake her hand, but she sat down with us for 30 minutes.'
The If I Stay star also touched on her love life. She is best known for having dated Brooklyn Beckham in 2014.

'I’m just going out and meeting people, trying to keep it fun and young and not lock myself down right now,' said the beauty.
'I barely have time for my own life, much less someone else’s! I’m trying to hold my own as a young woman and make the right decisions—but still try to be a kid. I’m just trying to have fun and be young.'
As far as her career, she has tried to diversify to prove her talent.

'A lot of my career, I’ve played specialized women—in Kick-Ass I was a little assassin; in If I Stay I was a premier cellist—but you don’t need a special set of skills to rise above any circumstances. I thought that was something that young women need to see,' she added.
And her next film, Fifth Waves, is one of her darker roles.
'It's an eye-opener for me. It really tested my acting strength and made me go to places I have truly never gone before… I’m in a hospital gown, screaming, going crazy. It was career-changing,' she allowed.

Moretz also revealed that turning 18 has helped others look at her differently.
'The minute I turned 18, everyone started treating me differently—I was listened to more; there’s a big difference in the way people respect you … (her face) started elongating.
'I lost a bit of my baby fat … I’m losing part of who I was—being a kid and having no pressure on me. As a young woman, everything I do is looked at very seriously.'
