The show kicked off in September in a flurry of sequins, drama and glitter and the famous foursome took to the glimmering stage for the final night with their professionals Giovanni Pernice, Anton du Beke, Kevin Clifton and Aliona.
Despite incredibly impressive performances from all throughout the night, it was Jay who took home the trophy alongside professional Aliona .After hearing the incredible news of his victory, the stunned star could hardly utter his words as he began to well up.
He said: 'I feel spaced out and really weird. [Speaking to Aliona] You deserve it so much. I just think it was one of the most special things I've ever done with the most special person. Anyone who watched us and helped us get here... Thank you.'

The hunky singer was placed at the bottom of the leader board at the end of his final three performances, with Georgia taking the second spot and Kellie sitting on top.
Against all odds however, the public voted in favour of Jay - much to the joy of both him and Aliona.
Opening the show, Jay was asked to repeat his Quickstep from week four, which saw him awarded his lowest score due to 'the mistake' - a combination of sloppy footwork and slow complex movements.

Dancing to The Who's 1965 hit My Generation during his second chance, Jay performed a fantastic rendition of the complicated and often trying dance.
Judges Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli, Len Goodman and Darcey Bussel were quick to dish out their expert opinion.
Bruno was glowing with praise for the opening as he said: 'When you go so fast.. I think it was Aliona who went wrong. You are twinkletoes out there. The quality is so high... When it comes to ability you are incredible.'
Winning praise from the toughest of the judges, Craig said: 'I think you did dance around the floor with ease, your bum was down through the whole thing. You are a lovely dancer to watch.'
Darcey added: 'For me... Top grade in complexity... I have to say it was divine, you were in charge. Even with the tiny mistakes you were fantastic' before he was awarded a glowing 36 points for his performance - a fantastic opening for the show.

The next set for the dancers was the 'Show Dance' where Jay and Aliona put on an impressive performance to a jazzy version of The Weeknd's hit I Can't Feel My Face.
Len insisted her found it boring while Bruno said he was anticipating a superhero yet it was more of a pick'n'mix with acid-tongued Craig concurring by insisting it was 'disappointing'.
After the moves, the deflated judges awarded the duo 35 points.

In his final dance, Jay danced the Pase Doble to Bon Jovi's smash hit It's My Life in a bid to become the 2015 Strictly champion.
A clearly impressed Len said: 'From week one for me you've been the most consistent of the couples but you have been so consistent... You come out and give it your all. It was a great Pase Doble and I've loved watching you.'
Usually acerbic Craig concurred, saying: 'When you first started you had no personality at all when you started this programme... and now you have drive you have passion and i love, love, love watching you.'
Darcey gushed about the performance as she said: 'I can see there's a sensitive but underneath the strength the shaping - for me you're my number one' and he was then awarded with a near-perfect 39.

While Jay was treading the floor with his temperamental dances, His fellow finalists also put on a good show in their failed bid for the Strictly crown, which was previously held by last year's winner Caroline Flack.
Georgia was the second dancer following Jay and received an incredible reaction from judges, who asked her to dance the Rumba, which she originally performed in week three, where her hip work was criticised while her partner Giovanni was scolded for disagreeing with Len's comments.
Bruno opened the comments, saying: 'Totally smitten by the sex kitten... She was made of spandex! There was a little issue with balance... Your confidence was there and you were very in to it' while Craig said: 'The intensity was very good, back bend was delicious. Full of control.'

Darcey added: 'I mean Georgia to think you did that in week three, you have grown into a beautiful sensual lady. It was beautiful' and Len added: 'Lovely, lots of content, maybe in a bit of more of an aggressive way but that was so much better than last time.'
They were feted with 36 points - nine more that when they originally took the stage with the dance.
Kellie took to the stage with Kevin Clifton to dance the Tango - which won an increible reaction from judges with Darcey calling the moves 'fantastic'.
Bruno said: 'That dance was exactly what a Tango should be.'
The EastEnders actress wowed the judges as she was feted with an incredible perfect score with all the judges giving her all 10s while it was Kevin's first ever 10 from Craig.

Katie Derham was next up with her professional Anton and danced with impressive moves although she failed to impress the judges as she received a lacklustre 31 points - sliding her to the bottom of the leader's board.
Georgia followed with her show dance, which she and Giovanni warned would be 'dangerous', where she danced to Coldplay's Fix You.
In a host of risque moves, Georgia was carried by Giovanni where she fell over his shoulders while wearing a blindfold which Craig called 'fantastic'.
The gorgeous star welled up as she was praised for her moves on the dancefloor before she was overwhelmingly awarded a 36 by the judges - overtaking Jay on the leader board.

The audience raised the roof after the dance which was set on a 1920s style train.
Craig said: 'OMG darling a-may-zing' while Darcey described the moves as 'extraordinary' and Len added: 'If Kevin is Ding Dong Daddy you are the Belle of the ball, that's a show dance!'
It appears Bruno had Kellie pegged for the top spot as he said that she was a champion.
Kellie swept to the top spot yet again as she achieved perfect scores from the judges once again with all 10s across the board.

Katie and Anton went for an epic Rome-themed staging and while the dance was dramatic, Darcey said she felt nerves in the moves.
She also insisted the classical music playing in the background was slightly overwhelming to her dance.
Agreeing with the critique of the music, Len said: 'This music is so dramatic and so dominant that the music over powers the dance.'

While Craig said; 'I didn't take to it at all.. It wasn't up with the rest of them I'm afraid. You don't have and possess the level of skill as everyone else has but you can rest in the fact you have tried very hard.'
Katie thanked him for his comments and insisted she and Anton got what they wanted from their show dance, before they were awarded a lacklustre 31 points again - keeping them at the bottom of the leader board.
Despite trying her very best, Katie became the first star to be voted off the show after receiving the lowest score from the public.

Georgia was next up as she and Giovanni danced an incredible Chicago-themed Charleston, which in their original rendition scored them a fantastic 39.
The incredible dance was littered with amazing lifts and slides which put Georgia truly in the running for the Strictly crown.
Clearly very impressed by the performance, Bruno said: 'This was a sparkling cracker of a Charlston, it has to be my favourite dance of the season. You've shown us how much you've grown as a performer. I love you my dear

The performance propelled her to a perfect score as she won all around 10s from the judges, to which she said: 'What a way to finish this experience.'
