Moretz, set to reprise her role as Mindy Macready and her alter-ego Hit Girl, embodied her character's tough girl image in black jeans, riding boots and a leather jacket as she hopped aboard a purple sport bike with the logo 'HG'.
Removing a matching helmet, her blonde locks tumbled around her shoulders; and it seemed her co-star couldn't help but be smitten.
Twenty-two-year old Taylor-Johnson, who plays high school hero Dave Lizewski and his crime fighting alter-ego Kick-Ass, seemed enchanted by his younger co-star, and later put on a helmet of his own as they prepared to go for a ride.

But it appeared Moretz' character had already been in a scuffle, reveealing a bandageabover her left eye to cover a wound.
The young star's role as Hit Girl helped shape her into an A-lister at just 12 following the 2010 release of Kick-ass.
She won seven awards and was nominated for a further 18 for the original Matthew Vaughn-directed film, although the follow-up is being helmed by Jeff Wadlow.

Nicholas Cage meanwhile, is also set for a return, although his character (Hit Girl's father Damon Macready, aka Big Daddy) died in the original movie.
Viewers will also see Jim Carrey join the cast as the action film sees Kick-Ass joining forces with a group of regular citizens who have been inspired to fight crime in costume.
Meanwhile, Red Mist, played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse plots an act of revenge to affect everyone his rival knows.
Moretz meanwhile has a busy production schedule ahead.
