Not ANOTHER Photoshop fail? Model's thigh is almost as thin as her forearm in new denim campaign
A denim brand appears to have airbrushed a model's thigh to a width that is almost as thin as her forearm.
Alexandra Tomlinson who stars in a new campaign for Joe's Jeans, is already slender, but apparently the label decided that her right thigh could be narrowed further still.
The image, which appeared today on the PSDisasters website, is to promote the brand's fall collection.
Slimming down: Model Alexandra Tomlinson's right thigh appears to have been airbrushed to a width almost as thin as her forearm, in premium denim label Joe's Jeans latest campaign
The site reads: 'What qualifies as an !edgy, sexy bod?! [sic] Size two models and matchsticks for shin bones?'
While Miss Tomlinson's left leg looks in proportion to the rest of her body, her right leg appears to be considerably slimmer.
'Also, maybe it’s just us, but when you look at the model’s left leg and bottom, it seems like she’s floating in space instead of actually sitting on that bathroom counter.'
Caught out: One commentator writes that Miss Tomlinson's thigh appears to be the 'circumference of a curtain rod' in the new ad campaigns
In the spotlight: Miss Tomlinson has previously starred in campaigns for Replay, Zac Posen and Armani Jeans
The shot promoting Joe's Jeans' Vintage Reserve 1971 collection was captured by Italian American filmmaker Tao Ruspoli, who worked in collaboration with stylist Marie Noorbergen.
Miss Tomlinson is pictured wearing a pair of the label's $169 Skinny pants.
The 27-year-old, 6ft model has previously starred in campaigns for Replay, Zac Posen and Armani Jeans.
Joe's Jeans, based in Los Angeles, was created in 2001 by creative director, Joe Dahan.
The company did not respond to a request for comment.
