Very Cold Girl? Dakota Fanning braves snowy Sundance in a miniskirt and cropped knit for the premiere of her new film

It is currently snowing in Park City, Utah and temperatures are chilly.
But Dakota Fanning wasn't going to let weather get in the way of her fashion choices at Sundance Film Festival on Tuesday.
After no doubt heading inside the Eccles Center Theatre for her film premiere with a heavy coat on, the 18-year-old posed on the red-carpet in a cute embellished miniskirt and sleeveless knit.

Dakota lead the way on the press line as she and some of her co-stars debuted their new movie, Very Good Girls.
The blonde-haired star did keep her legs warm with a pair of opaque tights and boosted her height with black T-bar heels.
The actress, who rose to prominence after her breakthrough performance at age seven in the 2001 film I Am Sam, wore hardly any make-up on her visage aside from an application of bold berry lipstick.

Dakota was joined by several of her castmates at the premiere, including 31-year-old actor and model Boyd Holbrook, who plays her love interest in the film, and pint-sized actress Claire Foley.
Meanwhile, Peter Sarsgaard, who plays Dakota's character's boss in the film, looked almost unrecognisable sporting a bushy beard.
The 41-year-old, who is married to actress Maggie Gyllenhaal, was supported by his brother-in-law Jake Gyllenhaal who looked handsome in a blue shirt and denim jeans.

Also present at the premiere was actress Jamie Lee Curtis, who was chic in a clingy navy dress and singer Jenny Lewis who acted as composer on the film.
Noticeably absent from the screening was fellow female lead Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Dakota's best friend in the film.
But the 23-year-old actress later popped up at the after party looking stylish in a pair of leather trousers and a silky matching black top.
Demi Moore, who plays Olsen's mother in the film, was nowhere to be seen, rather opting to stay out of the promotional limelight on this occasion.
Written and directed by Naomi Foner, Very Good Girls follows two 15-year-old chums (Olsen and Fanning) who have made a pact to lose their virginity during their first summer out of high school.

The plot centres on whether that friendship can endure when they both fall for the same cute street artist, played by Holbrook.
Earlier this month, Elizabeth was nominated for a BAFTA Rising Star award alongside, Juno Temple, Swedish actress Alicia Vikander, British-born Andrea Riseborough, and India's Suraj Sharma.
Very Good Girls is set to be released later this year following the premiere at Sundance.
