Flavia Cacace swaps salsa for sport as she launches rugby campaign... wearing heels and a peplum minidress

Did someone forget their trainers? Flavia Cacace swaps salsa for sport as she launches rugby campaign... wearing heels and a peplum minidress

She was teaming up with a group of burly sports stars to launch a campaign to get the nation playing touch rugby.
But rather than opt for a sensible pair of shorts and trainers, Flavia Cacace decided to take to the field at London's Truman Brewery wearing just a skimpy peplum minidress and heels.
Preparing to swap the rhumba for rugby as part of the O2 campaign, the Strictly Come Dancing star proved she wasn't quite ready to get rid of her spangles and sequins as she stepped out in her glamorous ensemble.

Despite her being flung around the pitch by England players Mike Brown, Brad Barritt and Alex Goode, the 33-year-old ballroom dancer showed off her petite figure in a daring thigh-split, backless lilac and white dress.
Teaming her sexy outfit with a pair of fishnet tights and strappy sandals, the Italian beauty was certainly the centre of attention as she and the boys traded moves.
Flavia showed off her daredevil side as she was flung into the air by the trio to catch a rugby ball, before practicing catches and runs with the burly blokes.

And Barritt looked positively thrilled as he lifted the diminutive brunette above his head, before she showed the players a few of her moves.
But despite putting on a brave face for the cameras, it would seem Flavia was suffering the effects of the freezing winter weather in London.
Stripping off her cute charcoal grey fur-trim coat, the Strictly star visibly winced as she braced herself against the cold.

The group were launching the O2 Touch Tour - the biggest ever campaign to get England playing the non-contact sport - alongside the Rugby Football Union in the hope of establishing 75 new O2 Touch Centres by June 2013 and a further 100 during the 2013/14 season.
In spite of being better known for salsa skills than her sporting prowess, Flavia seemed delighted with the physical benefits of the sport.
And with no scrums or line-outs, the dancing diva wouldn't have to worry about damaging her looks in a scuffle.

She said: 'There are so many skills you can pick up and hone by playing O2 Touch and this is why I wanted to be involved - deftness, quick feet, speed, agility, great hands, strength.
'But more than that, it's a really fun way to keep fit - anyone can do it and have a go. Touch Rugby is now part of my training regime.'
Saracens player Barritt added: 'O2 Touch is a great way to keep fit and have some fun. The best thing is that anyone can play and not worry about the physical side of rugby.
'It's a really positive initiative from the RFU and O2 to enable people of any age to get back into playing the game or try it for the first time. I'd definitely encourage people to pitch up to play.'
Grin and bear it! Despite the freezing weather and the prospect of careering into a crash mat, Flavia kept smiling
