So it’s not surprising Sheridan Smith felt like letting her hair down on Wednesday evening.
The actress looked a far cry from her prim and proper Legally Blonde character as she enjoyed a raucous night out to help notorious London club The Box celebrate their second anniversary.

The 31-year-old look delighted as she partied hard alongside some of the clubs more interesting characters and fellow actress Jamie Winstone.
Dressed in a flattering black dress which featured sheer lace detail and leather trim Sheridan looked in the party mood.
She wore her blonde hair off her face in an up-do featuring a large quiff and despite The Box being the second stop of her evening her make-up remained immaculate.

Before helping the club celebrate their second birthday, where she no doubt enjoyed the Belevedere Vodka on offer, the actress attended a Pre-BAFTA party at The Savoy Hotel.
But after mingling with fellow actors like Jonathan Rhys Meyers Sheridan clearly felt like letting her hair down and headed to the club.
Here she was seen partying alongside a woman who forwent a top in favour of just a necklace, exposing her chest.

Beside her was actress Jamie who also looked like she was getting into the party spirit.
The kooky star wore a knee-length red dress, which she accompanied with a pair of massive black heels and a fur stole.
She completed her look with a pair of Dame Edna inspired glasses, which helped her fit in with the weird and wonderful crowd.

The party girls weren’t the only famous faces in the crowd, handsome actor Luke Evans also attended, as did singer Eliza Doolittle and TV presenters Caroline Flack and Laura Whitmore.
The group spent the evening dancing to tunes spun by famous DJ Mark Ronson.
Gavin and Stacey star Sheridan has just been announced as the host of this year's Olivier Awards, which will be broadcast on mainstream TV for the first time in a decade.

Sheridan already has two of the awards under her belt after picking one up for her role in Legally Blonde: The Musical and one for Flare Path.
After a busy 2012, it seems like the rising starlet will have just as much of a hectic schedule this year with a number of projects in the pipeline.
