Forget singing the blues… it’s all about yellow! Alexandra Burke opts for bright footwear and coordinated coat as she leaves the theatre

She’s always been known for her bright and cheery attitude when she's doing anything from singing on stage to launching a lipstick.
And it seems Alexandra Burke’s happy demeanour extends to her feet as she was spotted leaving the theatre in bright yellow heels on Thursday evening.
The singer showed off her enviable legs while she left nothing to chance and coordinated the heels to the inner lining of her coat.

The 24-year-old looked in high spirits as she strolled along with her coat flapping opening in the wind.
While the outside of it was black, inside the yellow lining could be seen, adding a vibrant pop of colour.
Underneath she wore a high waisted black velvet skirt and a simple white tank top.

The X Factor winner's long hair was worn loose, revealing the blonde highlights in the front sections.
Alex was leaving the Charing Cross Theatre after watching The Billie Holiday Story, which is written and performed by Nina Kristofferson.
It seems the star was there to pick up tips before she takes up residency in the Royal Albert Hall this summer to perform her own take on Lady Sings The Blue.

She will be following in the footsteps of Diana Ross as she performs the soundtrack to the 1972 film, about the life of Billie Holiday, with a full jazz band.
Going in a completely different musical direction, Alex will be hoping to showcase a new style of vocal talent, opening herself up to a new audience.
'I am so excited to be performing these concerts in such an iconic venue. It is an honour to be able to sing Billie Holiday's songs and I feel a very strong emotional attachment to them,' she said.
'Music is my life and I love doing different and surprising things, so I can't wait to get on stage and sing these amazing and timeless songs,' the singer added.
