Her big day's almost here! Kaley Cuoco sweeps her hair into Brigitte Bardot-style beehive and wears floral mini dress for 'bridal shower' with friends and family

For her very first wedding to Ryan Sweeting, she will most likely opt to wear something traditional.

But as she celebrates the lead up to her whirlwind nuptials, Kaley Cuoco is experimenting with her look.

The actress hosted what was thought to be her bridal shower brunch with her closest friends and family on Saturday and rocked a swinging Sixties look.

The bride-to-be styled her hair into a Brigitte Bardot-inspired beehive and wore a floral mini dress complete with white collar and cuffs for the get together in Los Angeles called a 'pre-holiday party' by her friends.

Kaley completed her retro look with thick wing-tipped blue eyeliner and lashings of black mascara.

The blonde beauty earlier shared photos of her outfit on Instagram and thanked her stylists and hairdresser for 'bringing my #bardot to life' in the caption.

The guest list on Saturday included reality television star Ali Fedotowsky of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette fame, Mean Girls star Lacey Chabert and Kaley's Big Bang Theory co-star Melissa Rauch.

Kaley's younger sister Briana, who competed earlier this year on The Voice, also was at the brunch.

The actress has previously confessed that she would marry her fiancé Ryan 'tomorrow' after a whirlwind romance which saw the couple get engaged after dating for just three months.

Kaley has been getting into the wedding spirit and last weekend celebrated with a bachelorette party weekend in Palm Springs, California.

She partied with Ali, Lacey and her 8 Simple Rules co-star Amy Davidson, along with her little sister Briana.

Kaley and Ryan got engaged in September and already have started planning their big day.

Animal lover Kaley recently said she wanted a dog-shaped wedding cake.

'I just want everything the way I want it. That's the way it should be. I might ride in on one of my horses. I secretly kind of want to do that,' she said.

Ryan is a 26-year-old professional tennis player, who asked Kaley to marry him after dating for les than three months. Before meeting Ryan, Kaley dated Man of Steel's Henry Cavill for two weeks in July.
