She's got some front: X Factor's Alexandra Burke wows fans as she heads out in buxom bodice dress

She recently posed nude for a PETA campaign against fur in the fashion industry, but X Factor star Alexandra Burke looked just as bold with her clothes on, yesterday.

The singer was spotted wearing a dazzling black dress with a jewel-encrusted bodice and a sheer skirt on Friday evening.

The 25 year-old had been partying in popular London nightspot One Mayfair alongside celebrity pal Eliza Doolittle.

With her long brown hair styled in a cascade of side curls, the Hallelujah star looked remarkably demure in the gown, which was enhanced with just a flash of red nail polish.

To maintain an understated look, she wore only nude make-up and some defined eyelashes.

The protege of Simon Cowell also flashed a winning smile as she exited the club, which has previously hosted guests including Harry Styles, Dannii Minogue and Donna Air.

Built in 1825, One Mayfair is a former church that has recently reopened its doors after years of neglect. The historic, Grade I listed building has undergone months of refurbishment bringing it back to its former glory.

Clearly, Alexandra and her pals enjoyed themselves - she was left beaming as she greeted fans and onlookers.

She was shortly followed by Eliza Doolittle, who - in typical fashion behaviour - sported a very bizarre outfit. In direct contrast to Alexandra's stunning appearance, Eliza wore an ostrich feather-effect dress under a baseball jacket.

She teamed the look with cumbersome shoes and messy hair.

Fortunately, the Ostrich feathers weren't real - which will please animal rights activist Burke.

Speaking of going nude for PETA recently, she said: ‘I was nervous about posing naked as I’ve never done it before,’ she said. ‘It was uncomfortable initially, but the photographer made me feel relaxed and at ease.

‘Ultimately I love my body, so it was great to do something for a worthwhile cause.’

The singer says she was moved to take part after hearing about the methods employed to obtain fur for the fashion industry.

‘When I found out what happens to animals on fur farms my heart just sank,’ she said. ‘I have animals and the thought of someone hurting them so they can be turned into a coat makes me sick.

‘Anyone thinking about buying or wearing fur should watch PETA’s videos of animals suffering on fur farms – after seeing them, I can’t imagine anyone would want to be caught dead in fur.’
