Tamera Foster forgets her words for a third time on X Factor... as Sam Bailey steals the show

Not AGAIN! Tamera Foster forgets her words for a third time on X Factor... as Sam Bailey steals the show

Saturday night's episode of X Factor was an extravagant one as the show was celebrating it's 10th anniversary. This year's acts were challenged to sing hits from past X Factor contestants.
Tamera Foster caused the biggest furore on the show when she forgot her words for the third time, despite vowing to make sure it didn't happen again.
Fifth to perform, she chose an emotional version of James Arthur's winners single, Impossible which was originally penned by singer Shontelle.

She struggled last week after messing up her words once more and said, 'there's no room for mistakes anymore.'
But the shaky star seemed to fall victim to her nerves.
Tamera did however look gorgeous. She had cut her hair into a short blonde bob and she wore a metallic and black short-sleeved top with a black pencil skirt which had a train at the back.

After her performance, Louis chastised her. He said: 'You have the potential to be a world class superstar but what happened to the words? You can't do it anymore.'
Sharon had a kinder approach and said: 'Don't get down on yourself. Listen Missus, you tick all the right boxes. You've got it all going on. I don't know what the problem is with the words. Imagine if you were lip synching. All the wrong stuff would be coming out. But you are going to be a star Missus.'
Gary wasn't as impressed. He said: 'It was hard to watch. I don't know how you solve this problem. It's excruciating watching this happen again... It was in the wrong key and forgetting the words, it was really difficult to watch, I'm sorry.'
Sweet sixteen: But the rest of her performance was strong and she stunned with her new blonde bob

Nicole stuck up for her mentor and said : I am so proud of you because you kept going. You are only sixteen, little pumpkin pie and you keep on this path and focus. There is a little demon in your head with the lyrics, but we're going to work on it.'
Tamera responded: 'I think I got inside my head too much, I put everything I have into that song.
Surprisingly, Tamera Foster was introduced to Olly Murs earlier in the week, rather than James Arthur who sang Impossible in last year's show.

Former X Factor contestant, Olly Murs opened the show with his new song Hand On Heart. He performed on a heart shaped stage and looked like he had indulged in a bit of a spray tan.
He wore a taupe jacket over a black shirt and trousers on he got a standing ovation from the four judges.
Presenter Dermot O'Leary asked Olly what his memories of the show were and he said: 'I remember getting a few moans off Simon a couple of times.' He also admitted he's backing Rough Copy to win.
The first contestant to perform was Nicholas McDonald who was celebrating his 17th birthday.
He performed Miley Cyrus's hit, The Climb which had also been released by Joe McElderry as his Christmas single after he won the show in 2009.
The pair met up to talk tactics earlier in the week and Joe told him: 'You remind me so much of how I was on the show,' while advising him to add in adlibs and high notes to make the hit his own.
It must have worked because his performance was well-received.
Sharon loved it and said: 'You are so reliable, you never let yourself down. Great song, Louis darling, for Nicholas's birthday.'
Gary added: 'I want you to download music by people of your own age. There is still an identity to come from you but still a great performance.'
Nicholas wore a navy suit jacket, blue jeans and Nike trainers over an ombre shirt and at the end of his song, Dermot presented him with an elaborate birthday cake complete with edible judges.
The birthday boy seemed to be enjoying his day and earlier Tweeted: 'Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes love you all.'

Second to perform was Hannah Barrett who sang Alexandra Burke's winner's song from 2008, Hallelujah.
Hannah met Alexandra in advance of the show and the singer said: 'Be in the moment. This is an opportunity for you to be vulnerable and speak through the song.'
Alexandra was brought to tears by Hannah's rendition and on the night, she won rave reviews and looked gorgeous in a gold Grecian-inspired maxi dress.
Louis said: 'I think for me, that was your best performance on X Factor ever.'
And Gary added: 'I love that you don't pick songs to chase votes... I just think you get better and better every time and that's what it's about. Congratulations.'
Nicole was overwhelmed and said: 'You know it's good when it touches you and there's snot...You sung that song like a prayer.'

The show than played a montage of the best X Factor judge moments taken from the past 10 years which included Simon snapping at Chico, Louis crying and Gary Barlow storming off set.
Dermot asked the judges what their highlights have been and Louis said: 'getting hired every year because I never know if I am going to get hired. I was sacked for an hour one year.'
Sharon said: 'I am with the best judges that have ever been on the show. It's so harmonious.'
Gary added: 'I remember the first day I started and I was doing alright in my career. I remember being chased around the arena by Goldie Cheung and I thought what am I doing here?'
And finally, Nicole replied: 'When my two boys came first and second last year.'
Luke Friend who was devastated to be in the sing-off last week against Sam Callahan, was third to perform, taking on One Direction's huge hit What Makes You Beautiful.
After his last performance, his spirits were raised when Adele Tweeted him to tell him that she loved his performance and that she wanted him to win.
Luke got some advice from Shayne Ward on Friday who said it was about time one of Louis's boys won again.
Luke wore a black and white floral shirt for his performance, along with a blue velvet jacket, a matching pockerchief as well as some rather feminine black patterned skinny trousers and loafers.
The star kept his acoustic rendition simple, performing with just a guitar and piano accompaniment and he certainly made the song his own as Louis would say, adding a soulful twist.
Sharon was the first judge to pay tribute to him.
She said: 'For me, you are the dark horse in this race. You are coming into your own now. Everything you do, you have that naughty edge. I know you are going to be in that final.'
And Nicole gushed: 'I love that you took that risk, I barely recognised that song. The changes paid off and I loved it.'
Luke was pleased with his overall comments and said: 'That has given me so much confidence. It's lovely... I loved it tonight.'

Rough Copy were fourth to perform next with a cover of En Vogue song Don't Let Go. Previous contestants Little Mix covered the track when they were on the show in 2011.
They seemed confident and excited about their performance and Tweeted the song's lyrics earlier in the day. They wrote: 'There'll be some lovemaking, heartbreaking, soul shaking...'
On Friday, they met Little Mix themselves who said their 'r 'n' b vocals made the song sound epic.'
The boys threw some sultry shapes when they performed on the night and they harmonised their vocals beautifully. They threw in a key change for good measure, too.
They channelled a 90s clothing vibe wearing baggy cargo trousers and retro Caterpillar boots and Nicole was first to congratulate the boys on their act.
She said: 'It's like a roar in here. I can't even hear myself. Boys you got everyone excited because last week you was giving them the vanilla scoops but this week you gave them some caramel, some chocolate and you went to the ski slopes and you topped it off with some sprinkles.'
But Sharon controversially added: 'I love you but I do find that song awfully whiney, But I do love you. I love the theme. It's not you that I don't like, it's just the song.'
Gary retorted: 'For these guys this week, it was about bringing the Urban flava to the stage.'
But Sharon said: 'I'm just not urban, I don't know why. Awful.'
But the cheerful boys took the comments in their stride.

Sam Bailey closed the show and she wowed with both her performance and her outfit as she performed Leona Lewis's global hit single, Bleeding Love.
On Friday, Sam met Leona Lewis and she told her she was worried about being just an impersonator but Leona told her to add bits in change it up.
She said: ‘Her main worry about the song was making it her own. It’s such a well-known song and she didn’t want to divulge from the melody.
But it’s about having a balance – she didn’t want it to sound like karaoke so she needed to put her own spin on it.’
Sam looked amazing in a red showstopper of a gown which showed off her new slim figure. The optical illusion dress had black panels down the side which made her waist look even smaller.

She wowed the crowds but had a small hiccup at the end.
Gary said: 'I think Leona Lewis is the best vocalist this competition has found and only you could sing it. You've really modernised your voice.
Nicole added: 'All I ever care about is if you mean it, I love that you had that hiccup at the end because you felt it.
But there was a bit of a row whe Louis said: 'Tamera should watch this back and say this is what you need to be a star.'

Nicole fumed: 'She is 16 years old,' but Louis responded: 'Nicholas is 16 [he's 17] and so is Hannah.'
Sam stuck up for her rival tearfully saying : 'If I had a voice like that at 16, she is amazing. That song was for my daughter. I miss her so much.'
Some of the previous X Factor winners were excluded from the show's anniversary special.
Steve Brookstein, Shayne Ward, Leon Jackson and Matt Cardle's songs weren't covered by the performers, although Shayne did appear on the show when he met Luke Friend and he sat in the audience for Saturday night's show.
A show source told The Sun: 'With such a massive roster of successful artists from the past ten years, not all winners could be included in the final song choices.'
But an insider added: 'It is a slap in the face for the winners who won’t be covered.
'Bosses have obviously chosen the former stars who they think still resonate with viewers and who have had the most success.'
It isn't the first time that X Factor bosses have written Steve, Shayne, Leon and Matt out of the show's history.
Earlier this year, they were not featured in a special X Factor advert, mashing up the biggest hits spawned by the show.
Two of X Factor's biggest bands, One Direction and JLS will perform on Sunday night's live results show which will be shown at 8pm on ITV.
While One Direction will perform their new single Story of My Life, JLS will take to the stage with the current contestants for what promises to be an amazing collaboration.
US singing sensation, Mary J Blige will also give an exclusive performance.
