‘My goodness... I loved that!’ Jamelia shows no sign of first day nerves as she makes her debut as a panelist on Loose Women
Jamelia has been celebrating her debut as a panelist on Loose Women, with the former popstar joining the daytime show for the first time on Wednesday.
The R&B singer - whose hits include Superstar and Call me –was announced as a regular on the ITV series earlier this week.
Her first show saw the 32-year-old in the experienced company of co-stars Janet Street Porter, Jane McDonald and Kaye Adams.

Since the end of her singing career Jamelia has made something of a name for herself on popular panel shows, becoming a favourite guest on anarchic music show Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
The star has now landed herself a regular spot on the Loose Women panel which has also seen the likes of Carol Vorderman and Carol McGiffin debate and discuss over the years.

Jamelia’s first day seemed to go well as she gushed to her Twitter followers after the show:
‘My goodness...I Loved That!!Thank You so much for all your lovely, positive and encouraging comments. It really does mean so much’.
The singer didn’t seem to be suffering from too many first day nerves earlier in the day as she told her fans: ‘Shoot Done Now Onto my New Job!!! #ThisIsTheOnlyTimeImCoolWithAnyoneCallingMeALooseWoman Let’s Go’
With her duties including chatting to guests Christopher Biggins and the actor and comedian Ben Miller, Jamelia looked gorgeous for her debut in a fitted green dress.
Leaving her dark lock loose and curled, the star added a statement necklace to her onscreen look before changing into another equally glam outfit as she left the ITV studios.

Posing for pictures, Jamelia showed off her long legs in a high waisted grey skirt paired with a chic black and white shirt as she headed home.
Paired with towering shoe boots and a gold belt, the singer looked delighted after wrapping her first show, flashing a big smile for the cameras.
The Birmingham-born singer is moving on from her popstar roots after securing her first recording contract at the tender age of 15.
She’s enjoyed a series of hit singles and albums, including the smash-hit Superstar, which peaked at number three, and earned the spot of the 26th best-selling of 2003 in the UK.
The star will be juggling her new job with her home life as a mum of two. Jamelia gave birth to her first child - a daughter named Teja Wallen - in March 2001, when she was just 20.
She then gave birth to her second child - a daughter called Tiani Byfield in 2005 - when she was aged 24.
