Family ties: Hollyoaks cousins Jorgie Porter and Gemma Merna show off their toned curves as they strip down to skimpy bikinis for Dubai beach holiday
It was a case of out of sight, out of mind for Hollyoaks babes Jorgie Porter and Gemma Merna as they put their acting duties to one side during a sunshine break in Dubai.
The pair have been enjoying a short break at the coastal city’s Le Royal Meridien hotel, and they made the most of their stay by stripping down to their bikinis for a playful jaunt on the beach.
Jorgie – best known for her role as Theresa McQueen on the Channel 4 show – turned heads in a zesty peach coloured two-piece that revealed the lithe, athletic physique she used to her advantage while skating to the series seven final of former celebrity talent show Dancing On Ice.

The 26-year-old was on form as she frolicked in the surf with her soap cousin before showing off her acrobatic prowess by pulling off an impressive one-handed cartwheel.
Good natured Jorgie even indulged a male fan with a selfie – and it wouldn’t be the only self-taken shot she posed for on the day.
Indeed, the actress joined Gemma, 29, for a fun snap as they jumped in unison while splashing around close to the water’s edge.

While Jorgie opted for a conventional peach bikini, her co-star sported a lacy pink and black variation - and she looked equally tanned and toned as she joined in the fun
Gemma, who made her first appearance as Carmel McQueen in 2006, appeared to be full of confidence after admitting she’d spent hours sweating it out in the gym before flying out to the United Arab Emirates with her pal.
She told MailOnline: 'I've been a total gym bunny in the lead up to my holiday to Dubai, but like any girl I always feel a little bit worried about wearing a bikini.

'I believe in everything in moderation so it's nice when you have a break away to totally let go, not work out and enjoy amazing food!'
She added: 'I've recently bought some Victoria Beckham items and I've been wearing them in Dubai - I've got to say they are amazing and she knows how to dress women of all different sizes.
'The parts of my body that I'm not comfortable with look much better in her designs, as she knows women's body shapes inside out.
'I would love to work on a fashion range and have had some offers, which is very exciting - so we shall see.'
Meanwhile Jorgie is posed to reprise her role as Theresa – just three months after quitting Hollyoaks for pastures new after the character was accused of murdering Calvin Valentine, played by Ricky Whittle.
She told the Daily Star: ‘Theresa is awaiting trial but has some serious unfinished business before then. I can’t wait to be a McQueen again.’
