She only welcomed her third child into the world a mere matter of weeks ago. 
But Thandie Newton made an effortlessly elegant return to the red carpet as she showed off her incredible post-baby body at the premiere of Half Of A Yellow Sun at Odeon Streatham in South London on Tuesday night. 
Displaying her svelte figure in all its glory, the 41-year-old actress looked the epitome of timeless grace as she slipped into a chic LBD while joining her co-star Chiwetel Ejiofor at the movie event.

Despite being cut in somewhat unforgiving satin, the talented thespian's classic ensemble proved a wise sartorial choice, showing off her slim waist and showstopping post-pregnancy curves in all their glory.
Thandie teamed her elegant LBD with a pair of fierce gold spiked stiletto heels, which complemented the dramatic splash of metallic on her pencil dress.
The actress completed her red carpet look with a small navy blue satin clutch bag, while opting for minimal make-up and wearing her raven locks blow-dried into a voluminous style.

Thandie and her writer-director husband Ol Parker - who she married back in 1998 - welcomed baby son Booker Jombe into the world just over a month ago on March 3.
The latest addition to the couple's brood joins daughters Ripley, 13, and Nico, nine.
The Crash actress announced her pregnancy in September and later admitted she was finding it tough working on action-packed police drama Rogue, in which she plays undercover cop Grace Travis.
