BBC Tudor drama Wolf Hall is also up for three, including Outstanding Actor in a Mini-series or Movie for Mark Rylance, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or a Movie for Damian Lewis and Outstanding Limited Series.

Meanwhile, Emma Thompson is up for Outstanding Actress In A Mini-series Or Movie for the live broadcast of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street Live from Lincoln Center.

The Emmy Awards honour the best in U.S. primetime television programming from June 1, 2014 until May 31, 2015, as chosen by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
