The Man From U.N.C.L.E.'s Alicia Vikander wows in a pretty floral skirt for new shoot as she admits to 'suffering anxiety' about her success

Alicia Vikander wows in a pretty floral skirt for new shoot as she admits to 'suffering anxiety' about her success

She's one of the most promising young actresses around but Alicia Vikander has admitted that she suffers anxiety about her career.
The 26-year-old starlet - who has a number of exciting projects in the pipeline including The Man From U.N.C.L.E, The Danish Girl and the new Bourne movie - revealed that she worries her success will disappear.
Speaking to NET-A-PORTER.com’s The EDIT, the actress said: ''I suffer from a constant anxiety that what's happening to me isn't going to last forever. It's a tough industry. Really tough. And I'm constantly preparing myself for it to go wrong.'

Alicia, who posed for a stunning shoot to accompany the interview, wowing in a flowing floral skirt by Giambattista Valli and a black embroidered waistcoat, also revealed that she gets uncomfortable talking about her private life, particularly her relationship with boyfriend Michael Fassbender.
She said: 'I knew that celebrity was a side-product of my career choice, and it's totally worth it if I get to do what I love, but it's not something that I feel very comfortable with. I've spoken to a lot of actors who have taught me that it is a choice. I believe that staying private is something you can choose, and it is certainly the choice I'm making.'
Alicia's love of acting came from watching her actress mother perform on stage when she was younger, with the actress explaining: 'I can remember every detail. The lights, the smell, the sense of magic ... That's a wonderful thing for any child to experience.'
While Alicia's character Gaby Teller is involved in a car chase with Napoleon Solo (Henry Cavill) and Illya Kuriakin (Armie Hammer) in The Man From U.N.C.L.E, the actress can't drive but did not confess to director Guy Ritchie until the role was hers.

'I didn't admit I couldn't drive until after I found out I'd got the part,' she said. 'When I met Guy (Ritchie), I'd come off the back of so many heavy dramas and I loved the thought of going on a fun ride with him. I didn't want anything to jeopardize that!'
Alicia has been described as determined but she said: 'Part of me likes the word, part of me feels uncomfortable when I hear it. I feel very aware that I've had to be tough to get to where I am. I've been trying to do good work in a language that isn't my own. I guess that does make me determined, but it's in my nature to want to do the best that I can. It also makes me feel safe, in a funny way, if I'm working hard; less lonely, somehow.'
While she is now dating Michael, 38, Alicia admitted her first love broke her heart.
'Oh I mean it's always the most painful one, isn't it?,' she said.  'Almost like how euphoric and in love I was. It was all so overwhelming that it was tiring. I got a mix CD at that point and I had this Sony Walkman, and I kind of tortured myself. This guy didn't want to see me any more but I continued listening to this mix CD for, I don't know, months!'
And she might be a famous actress now but things weren't always so good for the beautiful star.
'I remember when I got my first flat, and I was in London, I lived with three of my Swedish girlfriends and we paid an insane amount of money for the most sh***y flat,' she explained.
'In Sweden everything is pretty clean, it's nothing you think about when you live there, but then I came to London and I opened up the kitchen door and I had never seen rats in my life! So we just closed that door and did not dare to open it ever again. So we actually put the kitchen table in the corridor and that's where we had our dinners and stuff.'
