'Old age is not for sissies': Stunning Iman looks flawless as ever as she shares a series of fierce Instagram posts to mark her 60th birthday
Supermodel Iman marked her 60th birthday today with a series of fierce Instagram snaps.
The flawless fashion icon posted the pictures of herself using the hashtag #Iman60 in a bid to redefine beauty standards.
They were uploaded alongside powerful inspirational sayings, including 'sometimes the king is a queen' and 'old age is not for sissies'.

One touching image was of the Somalian model as a young girl dressed in white, with the message: 'Trust your journey.'
Another saw the mother-of-two, who is married to David Bowie, dressed in a leather top and black and white trousers for one of her many professional shoots.
A quote posted alongside the picture read: 'Trust the timing of your life.'
The posts come after the businesswoman told Yahoo! Style she's never believed age is a limit.

She said: 'On my 50th birthday in 2005, my discount-wielding AARP card came in the mail. I hurled it in the trash, put on something fabulous, and had a decadent meal.
'Just the thought of putting it in my wallet felt like a concession.
'I'm 60 today. I have laugh lines—not wrinkles. I walk slowly because I am finally in a place where I don't have to rush from one place to the next.'

Iman began her career in 1975 aged 20. She was studying political science and living as a refugee in Kenya when American photographer Peter Beard approached her.
According to The Observer magazine, he asked to photograph her and she said the privilege would cost him $8,000 (around £5,000) - the entire amount of her university fees.
She is said to have then broken the law and fibbed about her age in order to leave Kenya.

She told New York Magazine: 'I was under 18 and to leave Kenya to come to the United States, to get a passport, you had to be 18.
'So I lied and said I was 19 to get the passport.'
Her modelling career subsequently kicked off with a Vogue assignment in 1976 and she has since served as a muse to designers Gianni Versace, Calvin Klein and Yves Saint-Laurent.
