He may be used to breaking the latest showbiz exclusives on ITV breakfast show Daybreak, but now Richard Arnold has become part of the story.
The Daybreak Showbiz Editor today released an exclusive preview clip of this weekend’s Strictly Come Dancing launch show.
The pre-recorded clip was shown on this morning’s Daybreak and shows the Strictly contestants, including 42-year-old Richard, take part in their first group dance routine.

Stars such as Sid Owen, Denise Van Outen and Nicky Byrne can clearly be seen cutting some shapes on the dance floor to the Queen classic Don’t Stop Me Now.
Fern Britton in particular looks as if she is enjoying the choreographed group routine, as she enthusiastically bops her head back and forth.
But the worst is yet to come for the 14 celebrity contestants as they are set to face 12 gruelling weeks of dance challenges alongside their professional partners.
