She beat 1,500 auditionees to play a Bond Girl in Quantum Solace, so of course Gemma Arterton is drop dead gorgeous.

The 26-year-old actress showed a more sultry side to her style as she attended the film premiere of Byzantium at the Toronto Film Festival on Sunday.

Joined her co-star in the film, Saoirse Ronan, Gemma certainly looked glamorous and stood out wearing dark red lipstick.

The Clash of the Titan's star was also showing off what appeared to be a redder hairstyle as she smiled for the cameras.

Wearing a floor-length dress, that featured a black skirt and a lace-trimmed lingerie style top, Gemma looked like she was having a great time.

She teamed her dress with a silver necklace and a chain-strapped handbag to attend the event at the Ryerson Theatre in Toronto, Canada.

Afterwards, the ladies headed over to the Grey Goose sponsored after party at the Soho House.

Saoirse also looked glamorous in a colourful Alexander McQueen dress and studded heels.

The actresses clearly get along well with one another and at one point Saoirse was seen grabbing Gemma's head, as the British star laughed.

Gemma takes on the role of Clara Webb in Byzantium, which is about a mother and daughter vampire duo who form a deadly pact.

Saoirse plays Gemma's onscreen daughter Eleanor in the movie which is directed by Neil Jordan.

The film also stars Sam Riley and Jonny Lee Miller.
