The sun shines out of Tom Daley’s swimming trunks

Golden boy! The sun shines out of Tom Daley’s swimming trunks as he trains for Junior World Diving Championships

Many Britons idolise Tom Daley for his unique diving ability, his sheer determination to succeed and his greatest achievement - an Olympic bronze medal.
But now golden boy Tom’s tiny pair of trunks has shown the nation the light – that the sun really does shine out of his trunks.
The 18-year-old diver is currently training in Australia for the Junior World Diving Championships after taking some well-earned rest following the London 2012 Olympic games.

Tom has been training at the Aquatic Centre in Adelaide, sporting his trademark extra-small Speedos as he perfected his technique.
His impressive physique has been the envy of many – and the cause of many adoring fans.
The young athlete recently picked up two gongs at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards, winning Male Hottie of the Year and Best British Sports Star.
Tom tweeted his thanks to voters: 'Thanks again for everyone that voted for me at the @BBCR1 teen awards :) 2 awesome awards...thanks again for all your support, Love you all!'

Having received widespread recognition from the nation, Tom recently refused to rule out taking on future acting roles, or a presenting job on TV.
On starring in a film, Tom told the Evening Standard: ‘I'd love to do anything like that. I would love to try anything new really, be it star in a film or playing a small little part in something like that, that would be pretty cool.’
He added: ‘At the moment I am studying, but I would like to become a TV presenter or something along those lines.’
Last month Tom was the star of a parade in his home town of Plymouth, returning to the local college to resume his continuing studies.

He may be training for the Junior World Diving Championships during his stint in Australia, but he did recently manage to take some time off from his busy schedule to enjoy the spring sunshine.
'The World Juniors is always a high standard, so I will be going into the event aiming to perform my six dives to the best of my ability,' Tom told the BBC earlier this week.
Tom is set to head to China next week on a promotional tour followed by a short holiday before returning to the UK.
