That beats the Hollyoaks canteen: Emma Rigby shows off her bikini body as she relaxes on the beach in Miami during a break from filming

She’s best known for playing Hannah Ashworth in Hollyoaks but like many soap stars she’s trying to make it in Hollywood.

And it seems Emma Rigby is half way there as she was spotted taking a break from filming in Miami.

The petite actress showed off her incredible bikini body as she soaked up the sun on Sunday while enjoying a day off from making her latest movie.

Dressed in a bright red bikini, the 23-year-old looked like she could have stepped off the set of Baywatch.

Sitting on a sun lounger with a straw hat to protect her face from the sun, Emma chatted to her co-star Alfie Allen, the actor brother of Lily Cooper.

Her long blonde hair was worn loose beneath the hat and she kept her eyes shielded with a large pair of sunglasses.

As she sat next to Alfie, her bronzed skin was very obvious compared to his as he looked like he had caught the sun.

The actors were joined by Downton Abbey star Ed Speleers who also stars in the movie.

Once Emma had had enough sun she slipped on a casual grey dress and headed back to the hotel while the boys decided to stay around and have a kick about on the beach.

Emma, who starred in Prisoners' Wives, is filming Plastic in London, Manchester and Miami.

As well as Alife and Ed, it stars Will Poulter, who is known from The Chronicles of Narnia and Sugababe’s Amelle Barrabah, although she didn’t appear to be in Miami.

The film tells the story of two university students (played by Ed and Will) who run an undetected and successful credit card fraud scheme from their halls, with the help of Yatesy (played by Alfie).

Happy: Emma looked delighted to be on the beach alongside Alfie- clearly enjoying the change from her soap days

Things are going brilliantly until they steal from the wrong man and they rope in Frankie (Emma) to help them get out of the situation – by trying to pull of one of the most daring diamond heists in history.

Filming began at the beginning of January and producer Terry Stone is very excited about the project.

He said: ‘Plastic is a fast paced international thriller, it is a fascinating story of greed, wealth and the power of money. The cast are superb and bring together the right mix of intensity, intelligence and confidence required to tell this story, we can’t wait to get started.’
