Girls Aloud stars have boozy New Year's Eve celebrations

What will the neighbours say? Girls Aloud stars have boozy New Year's Eve celebrations...while fans watch their flawless Top of the Pops performance

While fans of reunited girl group Girls Aloud watched them open the New Year's Eve Top of the Pops on Monday, the girls themselves were having a little celebration of their own.
The singers, who have recently released their greatest hits album, wowed the studio audience with their pre-recorded performance of Something New but Kimberley Walsh and BFF Nicola Roberts were having a boozy evening in.
The Strictly Come Dancing runner-up and her band-mate posted pictures of themselves enjoying a few glasses of red wine to toast 2013 and to celebrate a great year.

To round off their reunion year, which marked ten years since the band formed, the five stars took to the Top of the Pops wearing matching white tulip-style dresses.
Singing in unison from microphone stands and later with writhing male dancers around them, the girls were back to their best and quashed the continuing rumours that they weren't friends.
Cheryl Cole wore her trademark dark hair long and wavy over her shoulders, as did a sultry looking Sarah Harding, while Kimberley showed off her newly-cut dip-dyed bob.

The group joined a host of the year's biggest stars including Rita Ora, Stooshe, Tinie Tempah, Calvin Harris and Ellie Goudling, while Reggie Yates and a heavily pregnant Ferne Cotton presented.
But while thousands of fans watched them on their TV screens, the girls were seeing in the New Year in their own way.
Under the picture that Nicola posted of her and friend Kimberley, she wrote: 'Best friends for New Year.'
And Cheryl Cole was obviously in a reflective mood, as she tweeted a message to her fans:
