'I like doing dark roles... but I still watch the Disney Channel:' Carrie star Chloe Moretz strikes a moody pose in new photoshoot

The Carrie star - who turns 16 on Sunday - says her family keep her grounded and stable - but also has the Disney Channel to thank.
In a new interview with the March issue of U.S. Marie Claire, Moretz says she will watch light-hearted shows as her 'upper'.

She explained: 'I like doing dark material, which is interesting since I’m such the opposite person. I’m so light and happy. I have a good family and I’m loved.

And on coping with the dark roles, the Kick-Ass star said: 'I’ll watch the Disney Channel. My family makes fun of me for it, but with the characters I do, I always use that as my upper.'
Moretz recently finished filming a remake of the horror classic Carrie, alongside Julianne Moore, who she described as an inspiration.
'She’s one of my favorite people I’ve ever worked with,' Moretz said. 'And if I could do every single movie for the rest of my career with her, I would, because she's brilliant.'
Chloe also poses in a photoshoot to accompany the interview, seen in one pic here striking a moody, model-like pose.
On Thursday night the teen actress attended a party hosted by Teen Vogue.
Chloe looked super cute and there’s no doubt she was a fantastic ambassador for the hip brand in her stylish outfit.
She was sporting a powder blue dress with silvery belt and miniature cream satchel.
She dressed down the pretty frock with the help of a classic black leather jacket and wore her dark blonde locks in beachy waves.
The 5ft 5in actress completed her look by giving herself a boost in grey studded platform pumps.
