He may be big news in Hollywood thanks to his award-winning portrayal of Brody in Homeland, but Damian Lewis is still a London boy at heart.
The actor stood back to let his real-life leading lady Helen McCrory enjoy her moment in the spotlight as they arrived at the Evening Standard Film Awards in their hometown of London on Monday night.
The Skyfall actress, 44, went for understated glamour in a black satin sleeveless top, maxi skirt and carried a Kate Spade clutch as she posed outside the London Film Museum on the Southbank.

The mother-of-two was at the glitzy ceremony to support her film Skyfall - which won Film of The Year and the People's Choice Award for Blockbuster Of The Year.
Helen played MP Claire Dowar opposite Daniel Craig's 007 in the blockbuster.
Leading the glamour at the ceremony was Best Actress winner Andrea Riseborough, who received an honour for Shadow Dancer.

The W.E. star, 31, shimmered in a striking white Jenny Packham dress with a plunging sheer panel at the front and sequinned cape back.
She completed her look with her dark hair swept to the side a la Veronica Lake, and carried a sequinned clutch bag with an emerald Faberge ring.
While most of the guests had gone for black, Captain America: The First Avenger star Hayley Atwell certainly stood out in her orange tie-dye maxi dress.

She was at the ceremony to present the coveted Best Film category.
Ahead of the bash, she tweeted: 'I will be presenting Best Film at the Evening Standard awards... What a great year it has been for films! I still geek out.'
Also in attendance was Fresh Meat star Zawe Ashton and former Doctor Who actress Gemma Chan.
