'I regret a lot of what I wore in my twenties': Stylish Rose Byrne admits to making her fair share of fashion faux pas
By HANNA FLINT
Rose Byrne has been working the red carpet like she owns it this award season, dressed in a range of designer gowns that women across the world have openly lusted after.
But the Australian actress admits that she hasn't always been too proud of her early fashion choices, especially during her twenties.
'A lot of what I wore from age 20 to 27 I regret,' Rose told Glamour magazine.

'And I don’t get the whole ’90s thing that’s back in fashion. It reminds me of my awful hippie stage when I wore lots of crochet with Dr Martens - It was just terrible.'
Clearly Rihanna and Rita Ora aren't topping her style lists in that case, but Rose does find the British freedom with fashion inspiring.
'I just love that you don’t care what people think, you just go for it,' she enthused. 'Weirdly, by not taking fashion too seriously, it frees you up to wear anything you want.'

No doubt Rose can wear pretty much any designer she wants, from Ellie Saab to Diane von Furstenberg.
But when it comes to women she looks up to, comedic style trumps fashion substance.
The Bridesmaids actress credits her co-star Kristen Wiig as well as the Golden Globes presenting duo Tina Fey and Amy Poehler as the ladies 'she most admires', and that's why Rose decided on a comedy for her next film project.
In I Give It A Year, the 33-year old moves into the comedic lead as one half a newly married couple, who is finding the life of a husband and wife, not as fulfilling as the whirlwind romance that got them down the aisle.
Her high-flying Nat gets hitched to Rafe Spall's loving but lazy Josh, but their friends and family - made up of actors like Minnie Driver and Stephen Merchant - wager their union will not last longer than 365 days.
Watch Rose in I Give It A Year this Friday February 8th, in cinemas nationwide.
