'We're meant to be together aren't we?' Samia Ghadie appears to confirm romance with Sylvain after judges criticise DOI performance
Following disappointing criticism from the judges for her over-reliance on the French professional on the rink, the Coronation Street actress admitted it was hard to be separated from him.
After host Phillip Schofield asked why 'can't you let him go?', Samia replied: 'He's lovely. We're meant to be together aren't we?

Defensive: Samia Ghadie said 'we're meant to be together aren't we?' when the judges criticised her for heavily relying on partner Sylvain Longchambon
'I can only do the choreography that I've been given. I couldn't wait to do that routine.'
The pair, who have been romantically linked since they started skating together on the show, have previously refused to confirm reports they are dating.
News of their apparent romance comes after they split from their respective partners Jennifer Metcalfe and Will Thorp in December.
However, the judges, presenters and mentor Christopher Dean all hinted at their romance in the VT prior to their live performance.
Super romantic: The couple performed to Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You
After Samia was heavily criticised for her lack of skating skills last week, she barely left Sylvain's side for this week's routine to Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You.
She ended up with a total score of 22 - ending up joint second to last on the leaderboard with Keith Chegwin.
Jason Gardiner was rather blunt with his criticism: 'You're the tabletop mountain of the competition. You've plateaued. You're not improving.
'You're not improving': Judge Jason Gardiner told the Corrie star she had plateaued in the competition
'He's controlling everything you're doing on the ice. It's too contained and restricted. We need more performance honey.'
Head judge Robin Cousins agreed: 'You're confident cos you're in Sylvain's hands for 99.9 per cent of the routine.
'I would like to see some separation from him where you control your destiny. You have to at some point skate.'
Lacking passion: Despite their apparent romance, judge Ashley Roberts felt their routine was lacking heat
Always in his arms: Samia was criticised for spending '99.5 per cent' of the routine in Sylvain's arms
Despite their apparent romance, Ashley Roberts felt their routine was lacking passion: 'I can tell you feel more confident with Sylvain. There were moments that were beautiful. But then there were moments I felt some separation. The passion wasn't quite there.'
This week's theme was 'Love Week' ahead of Valentine's Day, with the contestants kicking off the show with a group routine to Seventies disco classic Love Is In The Air.
Gareth Thomas and his partner Robin Johnstone were the first to dance, skating to Labrinth featuring Emeli Sande's Beneath Your Beautiful.
The Welsh rugby ace received an impressive total score of 30, including a 8.5 for Karen.
Slow and steady: Gareth Thomas and his partner Robin Johnstone skated to Labrinth featuring Emeli Sande's Beneath Your Beautiful
As expected, Jason and Karen's opinions on Gareth's performances differed, with them disagreeing over the athlete's lifts.
Jason told him: 'I'm a big fan. But tonight I would have liked to see a little more tenderness and more vulnerability. I wanna see more development in the arms.
'Soften them a little more. Apart from that you're working in the right decoration. I wanna see you change up the lifts.'
Delicate: The couple ended up top of the leaderboard
Karen contradicted him: 'That was a brand new lift and it was performed brilliantly. The performance was strong and gentle. It was very, very beautiful.'
After hearing his feedback, Gareth defending his lifts: 'I may be strong, but you need technique to do the lifts.'
Jason attempted to explain his criticism, saying: 'I wanna see more dynamic, fast lifts.'
However, Karen responded: 'You want to see more fast lifts to a slow, beautiful song?'
Funnyman: Comedian Joe Pasquale was second to perform with his partner Vicky Ogden to '20s song Tiptoe through the tulips.
Comedian Joe Pasquale was second to perform with his partner Vicky Ogden to '20s song Tiptoe Through The Tulips.
Although he had evidently improved from previous weeks, he ended up with a total of 18.5.
Ashley praised Joe for developing: 'Always making me smile. I'd tiptop through some tulips with you. There was some prestige-ness in the upper body.'
'Absurd and ridiculous naturally': Joe was praised for his gradual progress
Jason added: 'Joe does absurd and ridiculous naturally. There was a lot more content this week. You were leading a little bit more. It's improving so well done.'
Third to skate was actor Matt Lapinskas and Canadian professional Brianne Delcourt, performing to The Lumineers' song Ho Hey.
After ending up in the skate-off last week, the former EastEnders actor admitted he had lost his confidence and ended up receiving a 28.5.

Jason admitted something was lacking compared to previous weeks: 'First of all, you're working a little bit better today. For me, I just felt there wasn't the same Matt we're used to seeing.
'It didn't have the same energy. The technicality was there, but you lost something special tonight.'
Robin agreed: 'It started out brilliantly, but lost its way a little bit, but then improved towards the end. The bravado of Matt needs to come back but with the control.'
Lacking confident: Matt was more withdrawn this week after ending up in the skate-off last week
Luke Campbell and his partner Jenna Smith ended up with a 24.0 to their routine to Buddy Holly's Everyday.
The Olympic boxer was struggling with the lifts because of hurting his wrist and ended up making last-minute changes to the routine in the dress rehearsal.
Jason was left red-faced after he praised Luke for performing a pressage lift... which was actually removed from the routine due to the star's injury.

He said: 'I can see that improvement. I liked the pressage lifts. Please stop licking your lips throughout it. Licking your lips throughout that looks like you're hungry.'
However, Jason's arch-rival Karen contradicted him: 'You notice everything Jason, but there was no pressage lift there... we took it out.
'You were very animated Luke. You're improving every week.'
In the pink: Keith Chegwin skated to McFly's It's All About You with partner Olga Sharutenko, ending up with a 22.0
TV presenter Keith Chegwin showed he was continuing to perform as he skated to McFly's It's All About You with partner Olga Sharutenko, ending up with a 22.0.
Robin remarked: 'Its such a pleasure to watch you enjoy yourself on the routine. You're in control. I do want to see the basics getting tighter. You're moving with such confidence.'
Although she told him his smile 'lit up the room', Ashley pointed out Keith's lines were lacking: 'Make sure they're strong, long and giving that strength.'
Last but not least: Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle and her partner Dan Whiston
Nerve-wracking: Beth performed the headbanger during the fast-paced routine
Last to skate on Sunday's show was Olympic gymnast Beth Tweddle and her partner Dan Whiston.
The pair narrowly missed the top spot on the leaderboard after getting a 29.5 for their routine to Rihanna's We Found Love.
The judges agreed Beth's anxiety over the headbanger in the routine affected her performance somewhat.
Ashley told her: 'I did love it and it was tricky and the technique is there. But I wanted to see that fire throughout that routine. I wanna see the fire and the attack in the performance. I wanna see that fierceness.'
Hot debate: The judges often contradicted each other during the show
Kicking things off: The celebrities and their partners performed a group skate to Love Is In the Air
