It's hard not to pity the poor cast of TOWIE
The cameras have stopped rolling for almost two weeks now, meaning they have been deprived of the constant glare of attention on which they all thrive.
Naturally this means they have been forced to compete for the limelight on Twitter - and so far, Lucy Mecklenburgh is winning.

The curvy brunette posted a show stopping snap of her relaxing in a swimming pool.
Wearing just a bikini, the Essex-native's make up looks perfect, and her hair still manages to look luscious, despite being sopping wet.
The photo was taken by her friend Abi Fellowes who had arranged a surprise girls' day out.
The night before their jaunt, 21-year-old Lucy tweeted: 'My friend @abi_fellowes is taking me out tomorrow .. Iv been instructed to bring a bikini!! That's all she will tell me! X #excited' [sic].

Of course, she started the day by telling her fanbase that she was awake.
'Up getting ready for my mystery day with @abi_fellowes .. Bikini is packed Miss Fellowes as instructed!' she said.
As the day unfolded, the girls kept their followers updated on their trip to the spa.
'@lucy_meck "I'm so drunk right now" haha!! Had a beautiful lunch with wine & champagne. Now for spa and massage! Xx', tweeted Abi, who does not appear on the hit ITV series.

It's been a busy week for Lucy, who earlier in the week was holidaying with her fiance Mario Falcone on the French Riviera.
While she didn't tweet much while they soaked up the fine weather in St. Tropez, she revealed that the trip made her realise she is afraid of flying.
She wrote: 'Just landed! .. And realised I'm actually quite scared of flying! .. Never wanted a flight to end soo badly x' [sic].
However, perhaps due to the high levels of trauma she underwent, she did not reveal what had caused her to question her own mortality.
