Homeland's Morena Baccarin rocks black leather and lace mini dress at Hollywood's Brazilian Film Festival
As Jessica Brody in Homeland, it wasn't often you got to see actress Morena Baccarin with a smile on her face.
But on Friday night the beaming 35-year-old Brazilian beauty looked a far cry from her downtrodden on screen character.
Morena turned heads in a thigh skimming mini dress of black leather and chiffon as she attended the opening night of the annual Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival.

The mother-of-one teamed the long-sleeved dress with gold stilettos and a gold necklace as she posed on the red carpet.
She wore her dark hair a little longer than usual and kept her make up simple with cerise lipstick and dark eyeliner.
There was no sign of her husband at the event - the director and screen writer Austin Chick who she married in 2011.

Morena has a lot to smile about these days since leaving the hit Showtime series in which she played the wife of soldier turned terrorist Nicholas Brody.
Last month Deadline revealed that the Emmy nominated actress had won a role on Fox's Gotham.

According to the entertainment industry website, she will play the recurring role of Dr Leslie Thompkins - described as 'a gifted and dedicated physician who was a friend of Bruce Wayne’s parents, Thomas and Martha.
'She is determined to use her skills to aid Gotham’s most in need, which currently means working at the newly opened Arkham Asylum’s Home for the Criminally Insane,' Deadline reported.
She is to star opposite Jada Pinkett Smith in season two which airs next year.
