Killing it: Lorde picked up SIX Tuis at the New Zealand Music Awards in Auckland on Thursday night
Last year, the Royals singer picked up four awards but this year she scooped six, winning highest selling single, best pop album, best female solo artist, international achievement, single of the year and album of the year.
She'd jetted back from Hong Kong especially for the star-studded occasion, and was up and down the stairs multiple times during the night dressed in a white suit and red cropped bandeau top to accept her Tuis, eventually conceding she had nothing more to say.
'In my house the Tuis go in the kitchen, which may not sound that impressive but in my house the kitchen is the really important place to be,' she said while receiving the award for highest selling single.

High-flyer: The popular artist has been jetting around the world recently, attending a press conference for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 in London and the Pradasphere Exhibition Opening Ceremony in Hong Kong
Lorde's world-wide fame has helped her score an incredible new gig - curating the soundtrack for one of the year's biggest blockbusters - The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.
She also recorded the theme song for the film, Yellow Flicker Beat, and two other tracks.
Her affiliation with the film has seen her walk red carpets to promote the movie, and even form a friendship with megastar Jennifer Lawrence.
When a fan asked during a Twitter Q&A session with the singer what it was like meeting Lawrence, Lorde replied that she was 'cute' and that both girls 'double fangirled'.

Lawrence, 24, confirmed in a recent interview with BBC Radio that she was overexcited to meet the Royals singer saying 'It was a huge deal.'
