Melanie Sykes uses her bikini body to side-step the public vote on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

Bosom buddies no more! Melanie Sykes uses her bikini body to side-step the public vote, making Kendra face her THIRD consecutive Bushtucker Trial on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

They say if you've got it, flaunt it - which is a maxim Melanie Sykes clearly lives by.
The former television presenter spent much of Friday's jungle experience in a very revealing bikini on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!
In fact, her exhibitionism was so shameless it likely saved her from enduring a Bushtucker trial.

Having spent much of the day in a pink two-piece, the Manchester-born personality managed to entertain the public with her figure.
Relentlessly flirting with Jake Quickenden, it obviously worked - as she managed to avoid a grisly task. But only just.
Together, her and Kendra received the fewest votes from the public, but it was the hysterical blonde who was forced to endure her third consecutive Bushtucker trial.
Unsurprisingly, she burst into tears on hearing the news...

Earlier in the day, Melanie had been boasting about her six-pack, telling Jake it was the best body in the jungle.
He later said: 'I can’t believe it. I’m in a dream world. Even talking to you, laid there in your bikini in a hammock, and I’m stood over, watching, thinking, ‘what the f**k’s going on here’.
'It doesn’t get any better actually. I’ve come in here, there’s girls in bikinis – it’s unbelievable.'

Unfortunately, it wasn't all harmonious flirting in the jungle.
They previously met in their professional guises as former MP and newsreader respectively. But Edwina Currie and Michael Buerk had their own politics to trash out in I'm A Celebrity on Friday night.
The pair came to relative blows after she 'lost' a task based on her knowledge of Margaret Thatcher - a world leader she operated under in the eighties.

The clanger, which the other contestants don't know was deliberate, infuriated the Michael, Tinchy and Vicki, who took part in the Dingo Dollar Challenge – Critter Countdown.
Each one of them had to get inside a glass box. Meanwhile, Kiosk Keith phoned the campmates in Crock Creek and they had 60 seconds to answer a general knowledge question, chosen by the individual celebrity. If they answered incorrectly the celebrity was joined by critters.
What Michael, Tinchy and Vicki didn’t know was that Jake, Edwina and Jimmy were acting as CIA Agents and had been assigned the task of sabotaging the Dingo Dollar Challenge. They had to convince the campmates to go with incorrect answers and in return they would win care packages

Tinchy waited in his box anxiously as the celebrities had to answer his chosen question – ‘Which solo artiste has sold the most records worldwide?’ Jake convinced the campmates in Crock Creek to go with Michael Jackson, which was wrong and Tinchy was therefore joined by cockroaches. Vicki was waiting in a box next to him as asked if he was okay. “No, I’m not really,” he told her.
When it was Vicki’s turn, she too was joined by critters, as Jimmy convinced the campmates to go with the wrong answer. “Vile children. God, they stink. They’re going up my trousers. Get off.” squealed Vicki as the cockroaches crawled all over her.
Michael chose a question about politics, confident that Edwina would know the answer and therefore spare him from the critters. Much to his horror, the former politician failed to answer the question, ‘which British Prime Minister spent the longest time in office since 1960?’. Edwina said Tony Blair, which was incorrect and meant Michael was joined by critters.
After the challenge, Michael said, “I can’t believe they got all three wrong.” He, Vicki and Tinchy were unaware that three of their fellow campmates had answered incorrectly on purpose, and managed to persuade the others to go along with them.
“You have a lot of explaining to do, if I may say so,” said Michael as he Vicki and Tinchy returned to Crock Creek.

Vicki was suspicious: “I said there’s a conspiracy theory, there’s no way this camp got them all wrong.” She turned to Edwina: “Where were you? You know the answer to these questions.”
Edwina told the Bush Telegraph: “Honestly, firing a question about Margaret Thatcher at me, then expecting me to lie through my teeth. You know there are honest politicians around and I do my best to be one.”
Despite being wary, the campmates convinced Vicki they were being genuine. Vicki said: “Conspiracy theory up the wall, they just didn’t bloody know!”
