'I just feel so incredibly blessed': Kendall Jenner announces her appointment as the new face of beauty giant Estée Lauder
Kendall Jenner's 19th year is already getting off to a very good start indeed.
Less than two weeks after celebrating her birthday, the star made a very big announcement on Saturday that surely cements her status as one of the most in-demand up-and-coming models of her time.
Taking to social media, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star revealed that she has been named the new face of cosmetics giant Estée Lauder.

'I am super excited to announce that I am the new face of @esteelauder!! check out http://www.esteelauder.com/kendall to see more...I still can't believe it myself!' she informed her more than 15 million Instagram followers as she shared an edgy shot of herself posing on a motorcycle.
A second image, a brooding headshot taken by acclaimed photographer Patrick Demarchelier, was also shared both by Kendall and the official Vogue Magazine Instagram account.
According to Vogue.com, the gorgeous brunette has known for some time of the deal that will land her face in magazine print ads and TV commercials all over the world.
Kendall received word backstage during the Sonia Rykiel show at Paris Fashion Week on September 29 and has done a stellar job keeping such huge news secret for more than a month since.
The website also reveals that as part of the company's new 360-degree marketing campaign, they chose Kendall in part due to her huge social media following and made the decision that she would announce her appointment on Twitter and Instagram.

The official video features some cute flashback video footage from Kendall's childhood, seen trying on mom Kris Jenner's make-up.
'The first time I wore make-up, I was a little girl and my mom was filming me, and I'm like, "Mom, I did my make-up, do you like it?"' she explains of the clip.
She continues, clearly still in shock and awe: 'To think back to me being a young kid going through my mom's make-up drawer, playing with Estée Lauder, and flip to now and I'm a part of this family...'
The beauty calls her appointment an honour, thrilled to be in the same realm as long-time spokesmodels such as Carolyn Murphy and Joan Smalls, whom she will appear alongside in her first campaign, shot by Mikael Jansson.

'It's something that I didn't really expect to happen so quickly, it's so crazy,' she says of joining forces with such a huge company that has long been a staple in the beauty world.
'I just want to be the best me I can be, so having the power that social media has, I think that just seeing how many people care about you, and seeing how many people want to watch what you're doing, it just really makes you want to do the best you can do,' she gushes. 'I just feel so incredibly blessed.'
Big sister Khloé Kardashian reposted the video to Instagram later that day, along with a gushing message praising her sibling for boldly following her dreams.
