Scott Mills is the latest celebrity to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing... as three judges vote to save Alison Hammond following dance off

Scott Mills is the latest celebrity to be voted off Strictly Come Dancing... as three judges vote to save Alison Hammond following dance off

His own partner labelled him as having 'two left feet' so it wasn't too surprising when Scott Mills was voted off Strictly Come Dancing on Sunday night.
The DJ lost the dance off to Alison Hammond when judges Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli and Darcey Bussell all chose the TV presenter's performance over his as they competed for the final spot in next week's show.
Surprisingly Len Goodman admitted he would have saved Scott, believing his foxtrot to The Addams Family Theme Tune, was superior to Alison's but that didn't stop Scott from going home.

His best dance yet: Along with partner Joanne Clifton, the couple scored 21 on Saturday after receiving a three from Craig but it wasn't enough to keep them in the competition

Len said: 'Had it been left to me, I thought they were both so much fun.
'They were both dancing the foxtrot so I went for the section which was the foxtrot and in that case, it would have been Scott that I would have saved.'
Len had encouraged him earlier, telling Scott and his professional partner Joanne Clifton that they just needed to do exactly what they had done on Saturday night.
He said: 'You came out and performed your most impressive performance so far. You just need to do exactly the same.'
However, it wasn't enough to compete against Alison and her partner Aljaz Skorjanec, who were praised for the 'extra flourishes' in their final performance.
Scott, who is the fifth celebrity to leave the competition, called the experience 'the most fun' he'd ever had.
Speaking after the show, he said: 'It's something that I never thought I would do and I'm so glad that I said yes to it because it's been the most fun I've ever had!'
Scott also praised Joanne, saying: 'We've become friends so it's really sweet. It doesn't really end for me here because I'll still see her.'
Extra flourishes: Alison Hammond and Aljaz Skorjanec, who left the audience mesmerised with their American Smooth to Wuthering Heights by Kate Bush, were praised for going all out in the dance off

He tweeted: 'Strictly has been the best experience and I've just had such an amazing time.
'I'm so pleased I took part and I hope people enjoyed watching me try really hard in being as good as I could be.
'I've met some great people and made lots of new friends. I will miss them all. [sic]'
Annie Lennox performed I Put A Spell On You from her new album Nostalgia on the results show.
However, Scott did joke about Judy Murray's dancing skills as she survived yet another week.
He said: 'Judy knows she is not any good but she is having a brilliant time and she is so warm.
'Me and Judy joke that we are in the crap dancers club. It's the blind leading the blind.'

Meanwhile, the contestants pulled out all the stops and put on their best Halloween costumes in an attempt to stay on the TV show for another week on Saturday night.
After getting eights across the board last week, Frankie Bridge and Kevin Clifton managed to top the leader board with an impressive 37 points.
The Saturdays beauty, who was covered in green paint as she took on the role of the Wicked Witch of the West, performed the Tango to Defying Gravity from the hit musical.

Craig Revel Horwood commented: 'It was a spectacular number,' while head judge Len Goodman simply said: 'One word - fabulous!'
Bruno added:' I had tingles down my spine. It almost brought tears to my eyes at the end. It was simply amazing.'

First to impress the judges on week six of Strictly was Casualty star Sunetra Sarker and her dance partner Brendan Cole.
Dressed as sizzling vampires, the pair performed the Jive to Gloria Jones’ Tainted Love.
Scoring a respectable 27, head judge Len Goodman told them that they had lost ‘the flair of the dance’.
Bruno Tonioli added: ‘I understand it’s very hard to do the jive. You’re such a fluid dancer and it’s hard to do flicks and kicks.’
Craig went on to say: ‘I thought it was a little laboured and lacked punch… but you are a natural heavy mover.’

Bruno told the wildlife presenter: 'It was a little under-powered. You are usually quite poppy but I’m sure you’ll make a better comeback.’
Darcey commented: ‘I think you were a little preoccupied. I know you've got it in you but don’t hold back. Well done.’
'Your lifts were terrific but things did get into your head,' Len quipped.
The 41-year-old star received 26 from the judges, with three sevens and one five.

Pop star Pixie Lott and Trent Whiddon gave an upbeat routine of the Tango to Electri Six’s Danger! High Voltage.
'It was shocking, hair-raising,' Len shouted enthusiastically. 'But your right arm is a bit strange… it kept doing weird things but I loved the number.'
Craig told them: ‘I thought it was jam-packed. Your partnership is absolutely extraordinary. You are pushing Pixie to her capacity.’

However the same couldn't be said for Judy Murray who found herself at the bottom of the table after her and Anton du Beke's American Smooth.
Dressed as the evil Cruella de Vil, the 55-year-old star danced to the theme track from the movie 101 Dalmations and scored a low 20.
‘You are confusing the American Smooth to the American stiff,' Bruno told the Tennis coach. 'You are doing what we expect… to deliver nothing.
Craig: ‘It was spikey. There was no flow to it. It was like you were dancing Anton with a mannequin.’
Darcy: ‘You looked amazing and you looked the part. You came out of the character. But I do want to say there was so much more dance content there – a major improvement.

EastEnders actor Jake Wood and Janette Manrara wowed audiences with their horrifying performance of the Paso Doble to Black Betty by Ram Jam - but failed to impress the judges.
Craig: ‘I was disappointed. I would have liked to see you do more with the cape. It was stilted’, while Darcy agreed: ‘The attack and energy was there but you missed the movement in the back’.
Despite the comments, the actor managed to score 28.

After coming second on the leader boards last week, Caroline Flack put on a highly fun performance with Pasha Kovalev to Le Freak by Chic.
Their spooky 70s inspired Samba scored a high 32.
Darcy commented: ‘It was a controlled and clean Samba. You have worked so hard but when it’s that clean you lose it a bit.
Craig also agreed and described it as ‘phonetic, which made it look to clean,’ while Bruno thought it was a ‘sizzling satanic’ routine.

With Darcey telling the Essex lad that she now has 'high hopes for them' as Craig simply congratulated the pair with 'Bravo'.
