But in spite of pending formalities, Khloe Kardashian showed that she's not quite ready to let go of her 34-year-old estranged husband when she posted a slew of emotional lyrics from a well-known Christina Aguilera break-up song - Say Something - to her Instagram profile on Friday.
The 29-year-old reality star then proceeded to remind the NBA player what he's missing out on, by following up the thinly veiled words with a collage of sexy images of herself wearing just a bra in a recent editorial photoshoot.

Khloe and her Keeping Up With The Kardashian sisters are known for their regular use of social media as a means to subtly convey their sentiments.
But if this particular post was in fact referencing the newly single star's feelings about Lamar, it was far from subtle.
The song features A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera singing about desperation to revive a lost love, and is arguably eerily parallel with what Khloe has been dealing with since her marriage to Lamar hit the rocks in mid 2013 following allegations that he was having an affair and abusing drugs.

The chart-topping track opens with, 'Say something, I'm giving up on you. I'll be the one if you want me to,' before confessing, 'Anywhere I would have followed you.'
Throughout the verses, the lyricist becomes increasingly forlorn: 'I am feeling so small,' they sing, and then 'I will swallow my pride, you're the one that I love and I'm saying goodbye.'
'I'm sorry that I couldn't get to you,' they croon, before repeatedly urging the listener to 'say something'.

If Khloe was intending to send a subliminal message to her estranged husband, this song did so without cutting any corners.
And in case this didn't do it for Lamar, Khloe followed up the emotional post with a collage of sexy photos of herself from a recent editorial photoshoot, in which she can be seen in not much more than a bra.
On the upside, however, it's not all doom and gloom for the pretty brunette who is completely besotted with her new niece, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter, North West.
Just one hour prior to her emotional lyric upload, the doting aunt shared a snap of Kanye giving Nori a piggyback ride - the same snap that Kim shared during her stint on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday.

Khloe, who is worth $18 million, cited irreconcilable differences in papers to end her marriage to Lamar in December, and is not seeking spousal support from the former LA Clippers player, who has an estimated fortune of $100 million.
Last week she listed the nearly $5.5m seven bedroom mansion she shared with her soon-to-be-ex husband in the L.A. suburb of Tarazana, California.
And according to Us Weekly, Khloe has already purchased a new home 'up the street' from her mother Kris Jenner in Hidden Hills.
On the bright side: Khloe also posted a snap of her future brother-in-law Kanye West piggybacking baby Nori, writing 'proud of what an awesome daddy Yeezy is'
