They reunited after five years in the showbiz wilderness.
And Danity Kane's catchy comeback song, entitled Bye Baby, was released to welcome reviews on Thursday, living up to the girls' reputation since they rose to fame on P Diddy's Making the Band in 2005.
The ladies – Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard, and Aundrea Fimbres – sing about the time-honoured cliche of heartbreak and are still putting together the final touches to their third album.

The track's title will no doubt rankle with original Danity Kane singer, D. Woods - a.k.a Wanita Woodgette - who was left out of the band's hush-hush lunch meeting with new manager in May.
    D. Woods, 29, has said none of the girls ever expressed any interest in a reunion after breaking up five years ago, and she was met with resistance when she tried.
However, she wished the girls good luck on their new path and said in a statement to Us Weekly in August: 'Much love to the ladies of DK!! They have decided to reunite and I, like our amazing fans, will be cheering them on.'

The lyrics published on justjarded.com read: 'You don’t wanna let go, but I’m letting go.' I another chorus the girls sing: 'Baby don’t cry cry baby. Now good bye bye baby.'
The girls group, now consisting of Aubrey O'Day, 29, Aundrea Fimbres, 30, Shannon Bex, 33, and Dawn Richard, 30, formally announced their reunion at the 2013 Video Music Awards in August.
'You know we've just grown. We're more mature women,' Aubrey told MTV news on the VMA red carpet. 'This time we wanted to come back on our own free will...

'We're in the studio right now [and] actually with Stereotypes, who did Damaged. And we have a new song that we love called Rage. So we're really excited about that.'
The reunion comes after a highly public formation in 2005 and break up in 2009 on P. Diddy's show which manufactured the American band.
The girls insist they have now matured as individuals, and are ready to put the dramas of the past behind them.

‘It just got to a point where we were reaching a place in all our individual careers where we felt like
we established a lot of the things we wanted to develop within ourselves, but we were still missing the
pieces of what we had started off with and we didn’t want anyone to define that for us,' Aubrey said.
Aundrea said. 'It kinda started as a phone call, a text to each of us and then we went to lunch and it was like no time had passed. It was like, "OK. Let’s do it."#
